THE IDEAL COUPLE'S QUEST

THE IDEAL COUPLE'S QUEST

I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.” (Song of Solomon 2:7)
There is a stage of maturity in the life of each person when he must make a decision if he
wishes to share his life or no with somebody else.
I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.” (1 Corinthians 7:8, 9)
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.” (1 Cornthians 7:2)
Although some like Paul prefer bachelorhood,For many of us that desire to find pair not only is a need, but also the fulfillment of God's will, the marriage.
And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” (Genesis 2:18)
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24)
We the Christians know that we must abide by always our God's will, because he is who better he knows us and he wants always the best for us.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."  (Jeremías 29:11)
We must know that we have been predestinates to fulfill with the purpose that God has for
us, this includes in many instances to make a family. Therefore, God has a destined companion for each one for each one ours, a suitable help, like Adán and Eva. And since marriage is a commitment before God for life and divorce is not allowed (save for cause of fornication Matthew 19:9) It must not be made light of.
This makes us think: How to know that this relation that I have or I wish to have is
according to God's will?.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?” (2 Corinthians 6:14, 15)
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (1 Peter 2:9)
We must remind that we are God's town and we can not blend with the world.
Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.” (Deuteronomy 7:3, 4)
In Esdras's book it is attested about this:
And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.” (Ezra 10:2)
If the person that we intend to marry wishes to in truth to get engaged with us she must be
willing to take our faith the same as Rut:
And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:” (Ruth 1:16)
And just like Abraham's slave also we should pray to God for confirmation several times for to know if the person that we intend to marry is the one that God has for us.
And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.” (Genesis 24:14)
Just like Paul he was counseling Timoteo we must submit to God's orders and no taking like a kit the relations of courtships among Christians.
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” (2 Timothy 2:22)
Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life: Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 13:22, 23)
To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;” (Proverbs 2:16)
Knowing that when any work belongs to God there are no nothing neither nobody that he may undo it.
And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. (Acts 5:38, 39)

I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.” (Song of Solomon 2:7)
